Juliette Monroe – determined, sharp, ambitious

Nathaniel Radcliffe – Calm, wise, focused

Filthy Gods by R Scarlett is just amazing! I have no idea the number of times I’ve reread this book, it is just perfect.

Juliette is an ambitious woman determined to make it big in life. Being among the privileged at Yale she has to work extra hard to prove her worth. She has a plan but that is until her biggest rival figured out her secret.

Nathaniel is man of few words. Despite the privilege he was born in, he aspires to be more. Finding out Juliette's secret gives him the opportunity to finally get close to the woman he’s admired for long.

Finding his fiercest rival's secret gives Nathaniel an advantage over Juliette. Desperate to keep her secret she agrees to his conditions. They both live a challenge, and none of them could back down. The chemistry between them is so so hot. Literally sizzling. The intimate scenes could make me combust.

Nathaniel is my new favourite hero. I loved how he treated Juliette like his He was literally PERFECT. Just like a god. Juliette never cowered down to Nathaniel. Despite her disadvantages she fought tooth and nail. Neither of them were expecting their connection to be this strong. They had a few hiccups along the way but in the end it all cam together.

Another that made me fall in love was getting to see the American Gods – Gabe, Arson and James – in their young age. Not much was shown about them but it was enough to get me excited for their book.

The novella was small but not fast paced. I loved how smooth everything was and how it didn’t feel rushed. The writing was phenomenal. Each word, each sentence was perfect. Author R Scarlett has become my favourite with this one. It was just amazing. I would totally recommend it.
