My first book of 2021 and it was perfect! This was a great way to start the new year. Author RuNyx has done an amazing job!

Amara was a goddess. No other way to describe her. Her strength poured out throughout this book. She suffered more than anyone ever should, yet her heart never grew cold and cruel. She stood up strong every time she fell.

Dante was the perfect man. Literally perfect. He was moulded to become to cruel man yet he kept his heart warm and free. He loved hard and fought even harder. He too lost a lot over the years but never gave into the darkness.

Dante and Amara’s story honestly started off when they were kids and was so cute. However, unlike the rest this one wasn’t a smooth ride. Amara’s torture brought in a darkness into their cute, childish relationship. It took time to for them to come back to each other and find the comfort that had always existed. The way Dante was so soft and careful with Amara was adorable. He was there for her every need and never pushed for more. Over the years their relationship blossomed beautifully but not without its own battles. Amara and Dante however, never gave up on each other and their love was practically magical.

The mysteries and secrets from the previous book continue. Some answers are found but even more questions arise. There were a few new characters that I am super excited about, even though we barely got to meet them.

I loved that we got a glimpse into the past. The dynamic between Tristan and Dante was hilarious. Seeing them grow from being mere acquaintances to reluctant brothers (reluctant on Tristan’s side obviously) was amazing. Morana and Tristan also played a role in this book. The new addition to their family made me tear up a little.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was perfect in every way. Would totally recommend.
